Phone conversation between the Foreign Ministers of Armenia and UAE

On March 5, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia Ararat Mirzoyan held a phone conversation with the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the UAE Sheikh Abdallah bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

The interlocutors expressed concern over the situation in the Middle East. The Foreign Minister of Armenia conveyed condolences to the families of victims as a result of the recent developments and expressed hope for a resolution of the situation.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia expressed gratitude for the support provided in addressing issues concerning the citizens of the Republic of Armenia who had been stranded in the UAE. In response, the UAE Foreign Minister emphasized the ongoing efforts in this direction and readiness to continue cooperation.

Views were exchanged on regional security issues.
